• Paper Currency & Banknotes in the André Savine Collection

An early project featuring detailed descriptions and images of numismatic pieces found in the André Savine Collection. Pieces in the numismatics sub-collection consist primarily of paper currency and other forms of scrip such as banknotes, loan obligations, and coupons. Items featured in this database represent various periods of Russian history, including rare paper currency issued by the Russian White Army while in control of southern Russia during 1918-1920. The numismatics sub-collection also includes currency from other Ukraine, Poland, and Switzerland.
